"A Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord." -Luke 2:11 |
The purpose of this website is to share what the Bible says about salvation and God's presence in our lives. If you are interested in becoming a Christian, this site is for you. This site is also for Christians seeking the simple truth in an age of seemingly increasing confusion about the basics of the Christian faith.
What is the simple truth about salvation according to the Bible? Believe that Jesus Christ is our one and only Savior. "I tell you the truth, he who believes has everlasting life." -John 6:47
Jesus also said: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live,
even though he dies: and whoever lives and believes in me will never die." -John 11:25-26
"You will inherit eternal life if you love the Lord your God with all your heart and with
all your soul and with all your strength and mind; and, love your neighbor as yourself". -Luke 10:27 "Whoever has my commands and obeys them, he is the one who loves me..." -John 14:21
"The man who says, 'I know him,' but does not do what he commands is a liar, and the truth is not in him. But if anyone obeys his word, God's love is truly made complete in him." -1John 2:4-5
What does Jesus save us from? He saves us from sin, death, and hell. We should repent of our
sins and ask Him to forgive us. "Confess your sins to one another, and pray for one another so that you may be healed." - James 5:16 We are forgiven as we forgive others that sin against us.

Jesus also instructed us to be baptized.
What is the Trinity? It is our one God revealed in three
persons. The Son, the Father, and the Holy Spirit are one godhead. Yet, they are
eternally distinct.
What does it really mean to be a Christian? It means to have a personal relationship
with Christ. Christ is in the
Father and we are in Christ, and Christ is in us. -John 14:20
Jesus said: "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him,
and we will come to him and make our home with him." -John 14:23
We have nothing to fear or dread because the awesome Creator of everything is
with us and in us. We are the temple of the living God. -2Corinthians 6:16
